What exactly is Tap 4 Drive?

A system for capturing leads from customers already inside your dealership. A branded NFC stand sits in your service waiting area. Customers tap their phone, see your vehicle offers, and submit their interest. You get an instant alert.

Does the customer need to download an app?

No. Tapping the NFC stand opens a web page directly in the customer's browser. No app download, no account, no friction.

What phones work with the NFC stand?

All modern iPhones (iPhone 7 and newer) and Android phones with NFC enabled, which includes virtually all flagship Android devices from the past 5 years.

What if a customer doesn't have NFC on their phone?

Each stand also includes a QR code as a backup. Customers can scan the QR code with their camera to open the same page.

Setup & hardware

How long does it take to get set up?

Stands ship within 5 business days. Once received, setup takes under 30 minutes — log in, configure your vehicle offers, place the stand, and you're live.

Do I need IT support to set it up?

No. There's nothing to install on your network or systems. The stands are plug-and-play — no power required, no cables, no IT involvement.

Can I update my vehicle offers without reprinting?

Yes. Update your offers anytime in the portal. Changes go live immediately — the stand doesn't need to be touched.

Pricing & billing

Is there a setup fee?

No setup fees. Your monthly plan price is all you pay.

Are leads charged per-lead?

No. All plans include unlimited lead capture. Capture as many leads as your service lane generates.

What does 'per rooftop' mean?

Each physical dealership location is one rooftop. A group with 3 stores pays per store, not per group.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. No long-term contracts. Cancel with 30 days notice.

Leads & data

Where do leads go?

Leads appear in your Tap 4 Drive dashboard instantly. You also get email and SMS alerts the moment a lead submits.

Do leads sync to my CRM?

API access is available on the Pro and Enterprise plans, allowing you to push leads to any CRM that accepts webhooks or REST API calls.

Who owns the lead data?

You do. All leads belong to your account. You can export to CSV at any time.
